Guardian Mode — your family involved at every step
The process

How Biye Kora Lagbe works, from sign-up to proposal

Five clear steps from creating a profile to a proposal your families can act on — so you and your parents always know what happens next, and what it costs.

There are no confusing tiers, no hidden fees and no unverified strangers on this platform. Below is the whole process, in order: what you fill in, what our team checks, how you find people, how a conversation actually opens, and where your family comes in. It usually takes about five minutes of your time and 24 hours of ours.

The five steps, in order

01

Create & verify your profile

Sign up with your mobile number and confirm it with the six-digit code we send you. Then build the biodata: name and date of birth, country, state and city, religion, education, profession and working sector, marital status, family background, and what you are looking for in a partner. Add at least one clear photograph of your face — it stays blurred to everyone until you decide otherwise.

Profiles with a clear photograph and a fully completed biodata appear in far more filtered searches, because most members search on those exact fields.

02

Get reviewed by our team

Nothing is published automatically. Our moderation team reads every submission by hand and checks that the photographs, stated age, education, profession and marital status hang together. If something needs correcting we tell you what and why, rather than leaving you waiting. Only once it passes does your profile enter the directory — which is why every profile you see later has cleared the same check.

Most profiles are reviewed within 24 hours, and you are notified the moment yours is live.

03

Discover matches near you

Start with your own country and city, then narrow by age, height, religion, education, profession, working sector and marital status. Distance is shown on each match so you can judge what is realistic for both families. You can save a search as a link and send it to a parent or sibling who is helping you shortlist.

You can search any country from wherever you are, and register with an address outside your home country.

04

Connect when it's mutual

You send an interest first. If it is accepted, a conversation opens inside the platform — your phone number is never revealed by it. Photographs stay blurred until you each choose to open your profile to the other. Everything up to this point is free; you only spend from your wallet if you want to see exactly who has already liked you.

Nothing about your contact details leaves the platform until you decide to share it.

05

Involve your family, at your pace

Bring your family in whenever you are ready. Download the profile as a printable one-page biodata PDF — the document relatives actually forward and discuss at home — and let both sides review the particulars before anyone meets. From there the conversation moves to a call between the families and, if it goes well, to a meeting.

You decide what is shared and when. Nothing is sent to anyone on your behalf.

Common questions

Questions about the process

How long does profile review take?

Most profiles are reviewed within 24 hours. You'll be notified as soon as yours is approved and visible to others.

What happens if my profile is rejected?

You'll see the reason directly in Settings, and can update your details and resubmit for review.

Can I edit my profile after it's approved?

Yes — any changes you save go through a quick re-review before they're visible to others again, so profile details always stay accurate.

What does it cost to go through this whole process?

Nothing, for every step described above. Registering, being verified, appearing in the directory, browsing and filtering, sending interests, accepting them and messaging a match are all free. The only paid features are seeing who has liked you before you decide, and featuring your profile at the top of search results — both paid from a wallet you top up in taka through bKash or Nagad.

Can my family take part without me handing over my account?

Yes. A profile can be formally created and managed by a parent or sibling, and it is marked as such. If you manage it yourself, the biodata PDF is designed to be shared and discussed at home without anyone needing your login.

Ready to begin?

Setting up your profile takes about five minutes, and our team usually finishes the review within 24 hours. It costs nothing to find out who is looking.
